Dailymation- Three cartwheels

This was done after watching my three kids do a cartwheel.
The first one is my eldest, Anat (7.5), the second is Itamar (5.5) and the last is Noa (3.5).
It was funny to watch because each one has a lot of his/her personality in this move- Anat goes very cautiously and seriously into it, Itamar just fearlessly throws himself in without overthinking consequences (and broken body parts) and Noa just has a big laugh out of the whole thing

Done in about an hour and a half

Dailymation- Bones VS. Rubberhose

a rough battle between the two techniques
Bones (more anatomical "realistic" animation) and rubberhose (a looser
cartoony approach to mass)

took around 2 hours

Dailymation- Metamorphosis part1

Just went for a smooth transition from one thing to the other, without too much planning of what comes next. it was great fun and rather quick to do
Done in less then 1 hour

Dailymation- Noa Battles the fridge

I was doing this after watching my youngest daughter Noa take a coke bottle out of the fridge. It was funny how she lets the door sort of take control of her body.

Done in about 2 hours.

Dailymation- Anat Judo

This is my daughter Anat in a judo practice.
done in about an hour.

Dailymation- Boxer

A boxer, this was a character I though of using for a short film I might or might not do one day.
done in about an hour

Dailymation- Anat on a ladder

This is after watching my eldest daugter Anat in a playground.
done in about one and a half hours.

Dailymation- girl running

This one is just a girl running from something.
done in about an hour.
comment or thoughts will be appreciated.

Dailymation- getting a dryer on a boat

Another rough exercise in traditional animation, just to loosen the hand a bit and study the weights and motion.
This one is following a joke I had with Ari Folman regarding the best way to get my laundry dryer aboard his boat. (This was at a point we thought that for our next feature we might move to france and I suggested I could save money on shipping by taking my stuff on his boat
done in about an hour and a half.

Dailymation- Itamar on a swing

this was done after watching and analysing how my son, Itamar, climbs a swing.
I never noticed before how his head almost touches the ground at some point. maybe it's just him. he has very strange ways of doing things.
done in one hour.

Dailymations- suit

I decided to do a daily rough exercise in traditional animation, just to loosen the hand a bit and study the
weights and motion.
this is the first one. I was inspired to do this after watching Milt Kahl's Roger from 101 Dalmation
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IOls6NGIso), although the acting is, of course, quite different.
done in one hour.
